Day One

Today is the official mark of a new beginning! My business partner and I (who happens to be my mother) are hanging our licenses with the FABULOUS Century 21! We are so excited to take our business to the next level and begin a new chapter in our thriving business. Unfortunately, this wonderful new transaction comes with wounds in our backs. In the big business world, I've learned that smiles and friendships are truly that of only smoke and mirrors, and NOBODY is truly happy for your ethical hard work and success. However, that seems to be life in general and the story of the lives of us who constantly go against the status quo. I decided to write this blog in parallel to the Drift Bunny blog to tell my side of the story though my eyes and how I see the fabulous world of Real Estate. When I'm not doing the Drifting thing, this consumes close to 90% of my life and I LOVE it! From our lenders, to escrow officers, to clients, to fellow agents, we get to meet the most interesting people ever.

Right now, I am finishing this post up while mom is fixing her nails and on the phone as usual. We have a meeting with our new manager at Century 21. SO EXCITED!!!! Not sure when, but sometime next week I'll have my MLS up and running and back to business. I think it's fabulous timing to begin this new blog and new company at the same time. I hope that I can connect with fellow agents around the country and world and share our ideas on how we run our business. Along with my adventures, listings and other information will be up here weekly.

My mother is the hardest working person with the kindest soul. I am so honored to be working along side her and stand by her even in the face of slander and bullshit. If I can eventually be HALF the agent she is, I'd be so grateful. Through the drama and fabricated situations, it only makes me stronger, it takes a whole lot MORE to get me to really be down and out *snap snap tssss*

Follow the Pink Adventures of the Drift Bunny for my daily and Drifting adventures!
